Heat-insulating hemp plaster for home renovation and wall leveling

HEMPBALT TERMO - homogeneous, excellent heat insulating, ecologically clean, active capillary, mineral and economically useful plaster. Perfect for interior and facade insulation and decoration.

The HEMPBALT TERMO mixture creates a healthy indoor climate with a natural moisture balance. A plastered wall can absorb a large amount of moisture and give it back. This feature is especially important for the microclimate of the room to be balanced. When plastering walls with current materials, the quality of moisture absorption is very poor.

When restoring the walls of old buildings, it is very important that the air humidity is optimal. Moisture is not only caused by indoor air condensation, it also comes from outside. It is often especially difficult to keep the air dry in old houses. Only such a wall, which has the ability to absorb and release moisture, creates favorable conditions for a suitable indoor microclimate and prevents the appearance of molds and fungi.

HEMPBALT TERMO is an ecologically clean, non-flammable and synthetic additive-free mixture made of crushed hemp leaves and hydraulic lime with natural additives, with active capillaries.

In the production process, fiber hemp is able to absorb CO2 from the atmosphere and consumes little embedded energy, in line with the principles of social and environmental sustainability. It has all the properties required for a building material, consistent with sustainable development.

Application: Mix with clean water in a planetary mixer or with a low-speed mechanical mixer until a smooth, lump-free mixture is obtained. Allow the mixture to sit for a few minutes before applying. Use the resulting product within 40 minutes.

Do not use at temperatures below + 5 ° C and above + 30 ° C during windy periods. Do not use on surfaces that are frozen, thawed or at risk of freezing within the next 24 hours. In summer, protect from rapid drying, keep the substrate moist.

Suitable for any surface (brick, wood, concrete, etc.), both inside and outside.

The mixture can be applied mechanized or manually. If you use it manually, spread it with a metal spatula on the plastered base. If the foundation is old, moisturize it. Smooth and wait 1-2 hours, then apply the second layer until a uniform surface without seams and overlap is obtained. Flatten again. After 50 hours, the covered surface can be painted with natural paints.
